All my paintings are made of natural and/or colored sand on polyphane. I don't paint on sand, I use natural and/or colored sands that I place on polyphane (pre-glued lampshade support. Then, my work is glued on a wooden support. As protection, three coats of artist's varnish are sprayed on the work, then framed in a white American box. https://www.tableauxdesable-mm.com/
