In this work I want to pay tribute to the artist A.Kiefer whom I saw when I studied at the Beaux Arts a retrospective at the Villa Medici in Rome, his approach and his use of materials really touched me. This painting represents the dress of a woman made in the raw canvas and it is glued and covered with paint. The body is not represented to want to suggest a presence and absence of the subject because the work is a reflection on memory, collective and personal, and it wants to trigger certain reflections in the viewer. What is memory? in what way do memories stay and in us? The absence of a person, what memories do we leave? These questions are the basis of the work.
