Work made of polymer clay and real hair inspired by Tsantzas.

Ritual known as "Tsantsa" (shrunken head) practiced among the Shuars (called Jivaros by the Spanish settlers), a tribe of the Amazon in which the last documented case of head reduction dates back to 1968. The ritual aimed to imprison the soul of the enemy, the muisak, so that she cannot come back for revenge. During festivals, the warrior wore this reduced head around his neck, as a trophy.
