Meet Roseline Al Oumami
Roseline Al Oumami is a French painter of Norman origin.
A crucial encounter
From childhood, Roseline Al Oumami explores her artistic fiber through dance, music and drawing. At the age of 18, her meeting with Sister Jeanne Dupont, artist then known as Yvain Marnier, reveals her true vocation. She passes on her passion for painting and sponsors her to present her work in different salons. In 1990, she presented her figurative paintings at a first solo exhibition and received a prize at the international competition organized by the city of Deauville.
A perpetual renewal
Roseline Al Oumami never ceases to renew herself through her art. Oscillating between abstraction, fantasy and semi-figurative, his works have their roots in the works of Jackson Pollock, Pierre Soulages, Nicolas de Stael, Hans Hartung or Zao Wou Ki. Having long worked in oil painting, she abandons it today for acrylic painting and pays special attention to the material to create a movement effect.
An accomplished artist
Since its first exhibition in 1990, Roseline Al Oumami has established itself on the national and international art scene. His work has earned him numerous exhibitions in France but also in Portugal, Italy, Algeria, Norway, China, Germany, England and the United States.
