Meet Marie Thuillier
Marie Thuillier (Marie-Angélique Thuillier) is a self-taught artist born in Paris. After studying at the École du Louvre, she completes studies of nursing and clinical psychology - she then practiced in these fields for 20 years.
During that time, she is also a photo model and poses in workshops and schools of arts and crafts, and both performs and records as a backing vocalist.
In 2015, she chooses to devote herself entirely to drawing and painting. Her work is a free expression in a figurative and/or peculiar style, which favours the use of colour in dreamlike atmospheres, marked by a gaze that has remained partially stuck in childhood.
