This is now the fourth in my series of paintings finished,depicting the wildlife here in the Pyrénées.
These are Izards,that should not be confused with the better known Chamois of the french Alps.,which is a separate species.
There habitat is between 800 - 3000meters.
The backdrop to this painting is the Massif du Canigou in the Pyrénées Orientale.
