In the painting I wanted to fix my saving from a stay in the city of Prague, the atmosphere of the city, its culture and its museums and the typical alleys had touched me and I wanted to transfer it into a work. I chose to represent in the foreground the majestic cathedral of St Vitus, true symbol of the city and to use the colors which can most give the atmosphere of Prague in autumn.
